The Best Infrared Heater Is?

This is a question commonly I think on many peoples mind. What is the best Infrared heater?

After years of research, I have only found one to stand out amongst the rest and that is Solar Comfort. This article will explain why I have come to this conclusion.

1.) Safety. It is proven that the traditional Infrared lamps used in farming, food and heating industry are by far safer than quartz.  Quartz bulbs are similar to the halogen lamps found in homes today. Although they produce heat, they can get too hot in a confined area.

Infrared lamps as used in the Solar Comfort produce an effective comfortable safe heat.

2.) Although there may be some advantages in a digital equipped Infrared heater that utilizes a motherboard, they just don’t last! Heat and motherboards do not compliment each other as the heat will eventually break down the circuit board.

By going mechanical, the Solar Comfort has been able to outlast ALL other brands. Since 1980′s customers have been able to maintain this brand of heater.

3.) Solar Comfort is the easiest Infrared heater to change a lamp on or work on, period! I have taken a part all the main brands and found that although the manufacturer boasted how easy it was in actuality it was difficult.

4.) Eight screws and I was able to change lamps on the Solar Comfort in about 5 minutes. Even better, I could touch the lamps without cotton gloves.

5.) I really like how I can easily and visually check the functioning of the lamps on the Solar Comfort without having to break the unit down. No other unit I could find was so easy.

6.) Encased fully in metal with the option of a wood case to surround it. I really like that it did not have a plastic housing. Some of the units I researched claiming they are a wood case were only wood on the top and sides with a simulated wood front.

7.) If there is a power outage, the Solar Comfort is sure to come back on and at the same thermostat setting. Most units will either not come back on at all or will not maintain its thermostat setting in the event of a power outage.

8.) Although other brands were boasting a lifetime washable filter, they were merely a filter that was similar to one above a kitchen range. I could see right through it.

However, the Solar Comfort has an amazing Polytron filtration system that is electrostatic. It is the highest quality filter in the industry. Simply wash it with water.

These are the specifics that sold me on the Solar Comfort and why I recommend it over all other Infrared heaters.

Solar Comfort, the only real choice in my opinion!

After nearly 5 years of dealing with Solar Comfort brand Infrared heaters and researching other brands, I have come to a personal conclusion: Solar Comfort is the only way to go!

Ironically, Solar Comfort’s pholosophy of ‘keeping it simple’ is paying off in a big way! While other companies are filling the industry with plastic, gadgets and an overload of digitals and motherboards Solar Comfort has maintained an Infrared heater that will out last them all by keeping it simple.

As one of the largest U.S distributors of Solar Comfort, I only carry one heater, you guessed it, Solar Comfort. I can carry all the other brands but have not found even one that I can personally feel comfortable with selling to my customers. If there was another that could be a good second option I would consider it.

See in my first year of selling Solar Comfort, I began questioning my decision as some of the other brands were coming on the scene with all the fancy digitals and remotes not to mention the Chinese inindated ‘Quartz bulbs. I questioned my manufacturer as to why we don’t have all that fancy stuff. I kept getting the same answer, we don’t want it! They wold consistantly express how dangerous the quartz bulbs were and how the digitals are the failing points.

Well, I have seen the light! No pun intended. After the past several years of being a service center, I have seen just about everything bad that can happen to the quartz digital Infrared heaters. I have seen melted cases, fried wiring that burned and arched through the side sheet metal and an over abundance of premateur failures.

On contrary, I rarely have to service a Solar Comfort. Ah ha! I wonder if this is why you do not find ‘remanufactured’ Solar Comforts? I see all summer long other brands selling their remanufactured heaters but I don’t see them for Solar Comfort.

In conclusion, in my opinion, Solar Comfort is the only real choice for Infrared heating. I say this as someone who has been in and out of just about all the brands.

Again, this is just my opinion that has come from years of personal experience in the industry.
